Yesterday I had no choices leftπ€¦♀️
NO MEATS ππππ!!!!
NO BREAD π₯π !!!!
NO VEGS π₯¦π₯π½π !!!!
What should I cook?ππ»♀️π€·♀️π♀️π©π³
I kept staring into my pantryπ€ππfound
flour.. And a few pulses..
Bread with but this would never work...
It had to be fried bread (batura) as I had all purpose flour..
IN PULSES : black eyed beans & black chick peas.....
Basically, had to land up with the BLACK SHEEP π.
The black chickpea that used to be cooked at our home π‘only during prayers π π€©
THE BLACK CHICK PEAS CURRY ( that TASTED AS MUTTON CURRY.......
Ingredients
4 medium onions
4 Medium tomatoes
1Green chili
12garlic cloves
1inch ginger
Choppedcoriander
1tblspoon cumin seeds
1/2 tsp fenugreek leaves 2cardamon
150gms black chick pea
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Method
Blend onion tomatoes ginger garlic green chili
In a cooker 2 tablespoons Ghee
Add cumin seeds and cardamom
Once seasoned add blended onion tomatoes
Salt and turmeric
Allow to simmer till oil releases
Now add soaked chickpeas,Water and baking soda and coriander leaves
Pressure cook till done...
Serve with fried bread & chilled lemony onion tomato salad
