A FRIEND AND BUTTER CHICKEN 


This morning๐ŸŒž, I had one of our friendwho was out to the market ๐Ÿ›ต and I asked him, what was he about to buy๐Ÿ’ต?

The sound of HARD PAV (Hard bread)๐Ÿฅ– AND PAV by it self was so nostalgic. ๐Ÿ’ญ ๐Ÿก !!!!!



FLASH BACK๐ŸŽž๐Ÿ“บ




CAN YOU IMAGINE!!

We had given up on PAV ๐Ÿฅ–almost two months ๐Ÿ“† back.

While  a cycle guy๐Ÿšด๐Ÿฟ‍♂️ used to come drop it at home ๐Ÿ  religiously.


Din’t know how safe it was๐Ÿค”, as that pav used to go OPEN in a ๐Ÿ’ผ bag ridding all around town๐Ÿšต๐Ÿฟ‍♂️.

  

GOD knows how many ๐Ÿ– HANDS were “touched” along that process.

So after having a chat ๐Ÿ’ญ with our friend...

Knowing the safety ๐Ÿฅฝ๐Ÿ˜ท, I asked him if he could get us some:)


So I took that risk!!! 



Quickly my numbers rolled ๐ŸŽฒ 3 hard and 4 Soft, felt like a kid ๐Ÿง’ at this point. 

He pleasantly mentioned, slice ๐Ÿ”ชit for best results. ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†


Once I got sorted on bread,
 I landed in another disaster!!๐Ÿ™†‍♀️๐Ÿคฆ‍♀️

 I WAS OUT OF ONIONS !!! Does any one hear ๐Ÿ‘‚ that ?


This sure is not a small thing,

for an Indian...our brains don’t function if we don’t have onions ๐Ÿ˜‚ lolz ...

it felt like THE END ,๐Ÿ™†‍♀️๐Ÿ™‡‍♀️, I felt paralyzed๐Ÿฅด ! Like i forgot how to cook ๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ .... ๐Ÿ˜ถ


But My morning walks ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿป‍♀️opened the third vision๐Ÿ‘, towards creativity.



IT WAS THE BUTTER CHICKEN๐Ÿ˜ˆ

 Don’t worry ๐Ÿ˜‰ it’s a lighter version 
So you don’t feel like a part of the furniture ๐Ÿ›‹ in your living room.

Our menu for today is:

Skinny Butter chicken with karak pav .




Ingredients:

Tandoori masala

4 Kashmiri redchilli

Fenugreek seeds

Jeera

Cinnamon 1medium stick

2cardamons green

Ginger

Garlic

Tomato purรฉe

Kasuri methi

Turmeric

Salt

Redchilli powder

Coriander seeds or powder




Yogurt blend Ingredients:

Yogurt 250 gms

Cashew nuts 12 pcs

Onions seeds


Method of cooking :
Prick chicken and top slice
Grind tandoori masala with little mustard oil and water
Marinate chicken in tandoori masala for half an hour.
Heat butter and little oil in a dish
Place chicken pieces not the masala on brown evenly on two sides.
Add remaining tandoori masala and simmer till flavor infused.
Blend yogurt mix without onion seeds,
As oil leaves out from the tandoori masala and coats the chicken, pout yogurt mix with onion seeds 1tablespoon
Allow it to simmer and thicken, based on the texture you require thin or thick.
Garnish with coriander leaves
Heat charcoal till red
Place a foil in small bowl and put on top of the gravy
Put cold butter and then place the coal over it.
And cover the lid to get the charcoal flavors to the dish.
