A FRIEND AND BUTTER CHICKEN 


This morning🌞, I had one of our friendwho was out to the market πŸ›΅ and I asked him, what was he about to buyπŸ’΅?

The sound of HARD PAV (Hard bread)πŸ₯– AND PAV by it self was so nostalgic. πŸ’­ 🏑 !!!!!

CAN YOU IMAGINE!!

We had given up on PAV πŸ₯–almost two months πŸ“† back.

While  a cycle guy🚴🏿‍♂️ used to come drop it at home 🏠 religiously.


Din’t know how safe it wasπŸ€”, as that pav used to go OPEN in a πŸ’Ό bag ridding all around town🚡🏿‍♂️.

  

GOD knows how many πŸ– HANDS were “touched” along that process.

So after having a chat πŸ’­ with our friend...

Knowing the safety πŸ₯½πŸ˜·, I asked him if he could get us some:)


So I took that risk!!! 



Quickly my numbers rolled 🎲 3 hard and 4 Soft, felt like a kid πŸ§’ at this point. 

He pleasantly mentioned, slice πŸ”ͺit for best results. πŸ˜†πŸ˜†


Once I got sorted on bread,
 I landed in another disaster!!πŸ™†‍♀️🀦‍♀️

 I WAS OUT OF ONIONS !!! Does any one hear πŸ‘‚ that ?


This sure is not a small thing,

for an Indian...our brains don’t function if we don’t have onions πŸ˜‚ lolz ...


Bollywood drama πŸ•ΊπŸΏ

it felt like THE END ,πŸ™†‍♀️πŸ™‡‍♀️, I felt paralyzedπŸ₯΄ ! Like i forgot how to cook πŸ‘©‍🍳 .... 😢


But My morning walks 🚢🏻‍♀️opened the third visionπŸ‘, towards creativity.



IT WAS THE BUTTER CHICKEN😈

 Don’t worry πŸ˜‰ it’s a lighter version 
So you don’t feel like a part of the furniture πŸ›‹ in your living room.

Our menu for today is:

Skinny Butter chicken with karak pav .




Ingredients:

Tandoori masala

4 Kashmiri redchilli

Fenugreek seeds

Jeera

Cinnamon 1medium stick

2cardamons green

Ginger

Garlic

Tomato purΓ©e

Kasuri methi

Turmeric

Salt

Redchilli powder

Coriander seeds or powder




Yogurt blend Ingredients:

Yogurt 250 gms

Cashew nuts 12 pcs

Onions seeds


Method of cooking :
Prick chicken and top slice
Grind tandoori masala with little mustard oil and water
Marinate chicken in tandoori masala for half an hour.
Heat butter and little oil in a dish
Place chicken pieces not the masala on brown evenly on two sides.
Add remaining tandoori masala and simmer till flavor infused.
Blend yogurt mix without onion seeds,
As oil leaves out from the tandoori masala and coats the chicken, pout yogurt mix with onion seeds 1tablespoon
Allow it to simmer and thicken, based on the texture you require thin or thick.
Garnish with coriander leaves
Heat charcoal till red
Place a foil in small bowl and put on top of the gravy
Put cold butter and then place the coal over it.
And cover the lid to get the charcoal flavors to the dish.
