Sometimes I feel πŸ€” men love πŸ₯°BIRYANI MORE THAN THIER WIVES.. 🧝🏻‍♀️

Not Generalizing, BUT SEEN My DAD & CLINTON..


When ever  a NEW restaurant just opened.,, we knew dad would be back late⌚️... SO mom used to call him πŸ“²and ask....
AJI WHERE ARE YOU?☎️πŸ“ž

I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU 🎁 .... was his reply

As he was back, our late dog 🐢 (Naffy) used to Dig her face deep inside the parcel πŸ’Ό  dad brought....
SHE KNEW IT AND COULD SMELL IT... πŸ‘ƒπŸ½ 

On the other hand my Mom kept crossing her fingers 🀞wishing for her stars ✨ that someday it would be a ROSE 🌹 OR A DIAMOND RING πŸ’.....

So this is what ... DAD WOULD SAY : .......
SEE WHAT I GOT...A flyer or a brochure of a BIRYANI RESTAURANT would Stick out of his hand 🀚🏽 LolzzπŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺπŸ™‡‍♀️ POOR MOM!!! 

Explaining himself πŸ™πŸΎ‍♂️🀷🏾‍♂️and giving the directions to the sto that opened... ⬆️⬅️➡️⬇️πŸ”„

that was to make Biryani...., πŸ‘©‍🍳

After I got MARRIED I Missed my dads ADVENTURES ON BIRYANI TOURS... πŸ•΅️‍♂️πŸ—Ί

BUT GUESS WHAT!!!!!

Clinton love HOME MADE BIRYANI .... πŸ™†‍♀️πŸƒ‍♀️πŸƒ‍♀️πŸƒ‍♀️πŸƒ‍♀️πŸƒ‍♀️
States: If it is Biryani it has to be MUTTON BIRYANI





SO HERE WE GO .....



MUSALMANI MUTTON BIRYANI: 






Ingredients (meat marinade)
2kgs Goat meat πŸ– (legs)
2serving spoons green fresh home made chutney
(Cilantro 1 big bunch , 1/2 bunch mint, one finger size, ginger, 1/2pod of garlic, juice of 2 to 3limes, cumin seeds 1tspoon, 1/2 a onion, salt and blend well.)
Biryani masala 1/2 serving spoon .
Yogurt, 500gms
Three tomatoes, medium diced
Three onions medium diced
1tspoon kewara essence(rose essences)


Method
One whole big lemon πŸ‹  cut into circles and the quarters 

Marinate and keep all of the ingredients in the fridge over night...

Next day morning: 
In a big dish, (3serving spoons of oil and put the Mutton in the pot) 

Slow cook for 3-4hours till meat is tender and gravy has become thick in consistency (adjust water, chilies and salt accordingly) 







Layering ingredients: 

RICE 🍚 3 1/2 cups soaked 
3medium onions fried
75 gms each of raisins and cashew nuts fried
Food colors 
Apricots 10 pieces 
Mutton gravy (1litre) 

Method

Par boil rice with biryani masala powder ( 1/2 serving spoon. And salt, and 1 tspoon kewara essences.


Stacking up:

Dilute mutton gravy: 
Where mutton. Still has a coat as picture below 
Remove pieces and keep separate 

Mutton Gravy two serving spoons and two serving spoons rice water




Half rice strained and mixed in the gravy mix 
Layer it with mutton , Fried onions half, apricots quarters, mint leaves, one serving spoon gravy and one serving spoon of rice water again.. 



Then last layer of rice...  spray water on top 
on top goes the color...  cook for 45min  slowest flame or in an oven for best results 



Then after 30mins open the rice slightly for the color to pop up and garnish ... and cover for the next 15mins 





Serve with half liter of mutton gravy and seasoned Yogurt
